Let's start things off with these tidbits:

1. ​Over 200 THOUSAND Canadians have signed this petition to revoke Elon Musk's Canadian citizenship. If you are Canadian be sure to do your part and sign and share today!
2. Let's be for real. It is bleak out there. And I don't know about you but, humour is the only way I know how to survive. So here's my current favourite funny thing. It is a full 20+ part series on TikTok and I think it might just be the reason you sign-up today!
3. Finally, Kneecap gives me that Irish Pride! After having their arts funding yanked for "anti-British" sentiment they took the gov't to court and WON! Then they donated the money to two organisations in Belfast who will work with the two communities to create a better future for our young people.

Now, let's dive in to the nerd-show!

Here's what I know to be true: digital transformation is hard AF!

​Statistics show that 70% - 95% of all digital transformation projects fail completely. And with digital transformation spending forecasted to reach $4TRILLION by 2027 that is literally 4 metric tonnes of dollar bills wasted!...(or roughly the weight of 11,000 fully loaded Boeing 747 airplanes!)

Here is what I also know to be true: digital transformation is always going to take a lot of work, and it is not going to be easy work. But it is necessary work. AND you need to get EVERYONE to do this not easy, but necessary, work!

If you feel like the above gif inside right now... NEVER FEAR! I've got you. One of the best ways to make your implementations easy(er) is to give everyone some kind of instant gratification!

Funnily enough, folks will USE the tools you have if you make them USEFUL to them right out of the gates.

The fastest way to do this is to find one report, or reporting process, for each team that you can replace with your new tools. Here are some examples:

1. Implementing a CRM - Be sure your processes pull the customer and company demographics already in the system into your interaction reporting so you can remove most or ALL of the manual reporting requirements for the Sales Team.
2. Implementing a project management tool - Be sure to link your projects and tasks to your KPIs or funding deliverables using custom fields, so that your time tracking and collaboration automatically build out your annual reporting.
3. Implementing a Donor Management tool - Be sure to source something that will create receipts and thank you letters automatically AND that syncs to your accounting platform so your team can focus on stewarding your donors instead!
